Naging very open si Janno Gibbs sa mga tanong ng entertainment press and vloggers during the virtual media conference ng sex-comedy movie niyang 69+1.
Tungkol kasi sa polyamory or open relationship ang 69+1, which Direk Darryl Yap claims is the first Pinoy film to tackle such dahil ang ibang mga “tatluhan” films na nagawa na ay umiikot pa rin sa third-wheeling ang k’wento. Therefore, may betrayal.
Sa open relationship kasi, may consent ng all three parties ang pagpasok sa relasyon. Walang tago o lihiman.
Janno’s role was invited to participate in an open relationship by a lesbian couple (Maui Taylor and Rose Van Ginkel) who’s been wanting to spice things up in their relationship in an effort to prevent the onset of the so-called seven-year itch or pananamlay ng relasyon.
Looking back, sa pagka-alam daw niya ay siya ang “first” lalaki sa buhay noong lesbian as far as sexual encounter is concerned.
“So, before me, lesbian talaga siya. So, ako ’yong first experience niya.
Well, it’s maybe because she was never not a lesbian in the first place.
The thing is, naging aware lang si Janno na lesbian pala ang naka-encounter niya after the fact na.
Sinundot pa kasi iyon ng tanong kung experimental daw ba on both their ends kung bakit sila nag-sex. Or, for his part, pinasukan ba siya ng masculine pride na tipong he thought he could “convert” her to embrace her full feminine side.
“Saka ko nalang nalaman later on. So, wala…walang purpose na ganoon.”
Marami ding naging tanong kay Janno about threesome —relating it in real life—bilang dito umikot ang k’wento ng 69+1.
Gaya ng kung willing ba siyang i-explore ito in real life sakaling may mag-offer nito to spice up his relationship…
“It was mentioned casually…” reveal ni Janno. “Medyo napagk’wentuhan…‘Ano kaya?’ Parang what if lang.”
Janno was also asked if he thinks couples should try threesome intimacy to spice up their sex life.
“Dapat bang gawin? That’s the choice of the couple. Nasa kanila na ’yon if they want to spice things up.”
“But to be totally honest, ang totoong fantasy ko is [doing it] with two guys ang kasama ko…”
“Totoo naman, e, and we’re unapologetic about it.
“But the thing is, on the surface, it’s bastos. It’s a sex-comedy. But at the heart of it, it’s a love story.”
“Number two,” dagdag niya. “I’d like to think that films should not have the responsibility to teach what is wrong and what is right. It’s supposed to entertain.”
We agree.
