Viva Records’ multi-awarded singer-songwriter Marion Aunor has gone a long way since her 2013 Himig Handog 3rd place win for the heartbreak song, “If You Ever Change Your Mind.”
She hasn’t stopped capturing the different states of love since—both in her poetic words and haunting melodies; churning out one painful song after another.
And most of her heart-piercing songs easily make it as a theme or part of the OST of Viva’s romantic movies, too. There’s “Delikado” (Just A Stranger), “Akala” (The Day After Valentines), “Maling Pag-ibig” (Hanggang Kailan), “Paasa” (Tropang Torpe), and more.
Her most recent creative output, “Maganda Kahit Matanda,” and upbeat song this time, was especially written for Sharon Cuneta’s streambuster movie, Revirginized.
Now, she adds another feather in her cap by putting up her own record label, Wild Dream Records, in collaboration with Viva Records. Meaning she’s now gonna help out aspiring talented singers and songwriters, who, like her, also once dreamt wild.
Congratulations for this new milestone, Marion. We can’t wait for the new music you’ll create.
