Just a few days before August 2021 ends, celebrity kids have won the netizens’ love and appreciation after they dressed up in traditional Filipino attire to celebrate this year’s Filipino Language Month or Buwan ng Wika.

This was made possible by their proud celebrity parents who shared their adorable photos on social media.

Scroll down to see these cute kids who celebrated the Buwan ng Wika in their typical Pinoy costumes.

MILLIE PANLILIO
Baby Millie of Dani Barretto and Xavi Panlilio has captured the people’s attention in social media after Dani posted her photo for Buwan ng Wika celebration.

In her Instagram photos, the cute little girl was wearing a blue floral Filipiniana terno with the butterfly sleeves. Terno is the evolved version of baro’t saya which became popular from the 1940’s.

SIXTO DANTES
The two-year-old son of Kapuso couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, Sixto, has won the hearts of the netizens with his gwapitong katipunero look.

In a series of snapshots posted by his Mommy Marian on Instagram, Sixto looked charming in his white camisa de chino top and red pants matched with a red handkerchief tied around his neck, the same clothing ensemble of those Filipino revolutionaries during the Spanish colonial period in the late 1800’s.

TALITHA SOTTO
Bossing Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna’s three-year-old daughter, Talitha, was all-smiley in her photo wearing typical kimona and patadyong.

Kimona is a transparent piece of clothing for women and is made of pineapple fiber. The patadyong on the other hand is a patterned textile that is wrapped around the waist as a skirt.

And to complete Talitha’s Linggo Ng Wika vibe, Mommy Pauleen captioned her IG photo with Filipino greeting: “Magandang araw mga Binibini, Ginang at Ginoo.”

STELA FRANCISCO
Stela, the younger daughter of Jason Francisco and Melai Cantiveros dressed up in her embroidered pink baro’t saya, the typical daily attire of the Filipino women during the Spanish colonial era up to the American period.

AYESHA SOLDEVILLA
Kapuso actress Yasmien Kurdi and husband Rey Soldevilla, Jr. joined their daughter Ayesha in celebrating the Buwan ng Wika last week.

“May bisita po kami huma-hara-harana sa labas  umaakyat ng ligaw… hihi… sasagutin kaya namin? Maligayang #BuwanNgWika,” Yasmien said in her Instagram post that came with a series of photos where her whole family dressed up in traditional Filipino costumes.

GABRIEL LUCAS DE LOS REYES
Karen delos Reyes proudly shared the photo of her son Gabriel Lucas who looked like a future public servant in his Barong Tagalog.

The actress even captioned his Buwan ng Wika photo with, “Hon. de los Reyes, Gabriel Lucas, District Representative, Palawan, 1st District 2050.”

CHRISTIEN AUBRIELLE VASQUEZ
Christien Aubrielle, the daughter of Christian Vasquez and Ara Hipolito, looked so pretty in her terno made of Igorot textile.

ARABELLA EIGENMANN
Geoff Eigenmann and Maya Flores’ daughter Arabella was so happy celebrating Buwan ng Wika in her typical baro’t saya and posed as a tindera in her mini sari-sari store.

DANIEL FREEDOM PRATS
John Prats and Isabel Oli’s second child, Daniel, celebrated Buwan ng Wika as a handsome katipunero wearing his white camisa de chino with green handkerchief tied around his neck.
