Bukod sa businesses niyang Presidential Paws dog accessory line and Wavee toothbrush speaker system, may Air BnB vacation home rental na rin si Yassi Pressman sa Canada! “I have I’ve been looking at property investment po and Canada was one of the places that’s why I was excited kasi ’yon po ’yong unang natapos because some of my partners are there and they’re able to build it. And then we’re on Air BnB! “And we’re just trying that out po. We have a couple of guests in and they’re having a great time.”
Isang yellow Honda Jazz daw ang kauna-unahang investment ni Yassi Pressman noong nagsisimula siya sa showbiz 12 years ago. At siya lang daw mismo ang nagda-drive dahil wala siyang pambayad sa driver.
“I don’t have it anymore,” aniya about the car na pinangalan pa niyang Bumblebee. “Dala-dala ko ’yon everywhere kasi po dati hinihiram ko lang po ’yong kotse ng daddy ko. And I was driving myself, wala po akong kasama noong nagsisimula palang po ako kasi wala po akong pambayad ng driver or anything. So, iniipon ko ’yon. I don’t have it anymore but I loved it.”
Ngayon, paniguradong naka-invest na siya sa mga pang-artista van (pang-shooting) or even an SUV bilang ma-adventure siyang nilalang.
Patapos na rin ang dream house niya na base sa mga photos na pino-post niya sa Instagram ay parang ubod ng laki.
Bukod pa roon, unti-unti na rin niyang pinapasok ang pagne-negosyo, starting off with her and her sister Issa’s Presidential Paws dog accessory line—collars, leashes, feeding bowls, and tote bags. December 2020 lang nila ito unang ni-launch and wala pang isang taon ay magkaka-off shoot na ito.
“Presidential Paws is actually opening the Philippine’s first dog park in BGC with Pet Me [Dog Park & Hotel], so it’s gonna be the first dog park there off leash and we’re also gonna do one in The Farm [at] San Benito,” excited na tsika ni Yassi na humarap sa media kaninang hapon matapos pumirma ng management contract renewal sa Viva Artists Agency, her home for the last 12 years.
Yassi also invested to distribute Wavee, ang “World’s Only Toothbrush Speaker SystemWave,” isang hi-tech toothbrush na p’wedeng i-connect sa music streaming apps at Alexa app. Mukang mabenta kasi laging sold out!
Aniya, ngayong palang talaga niya nae-explore ang kanyang entrepreneur side dahil hindi niya kayang isabay noon because she was taking care of her dad, Ron. (Daddy Ron passed on in February 2020.)
“Before po kasi I was never able to put my one into these exploratory investments kasi I always took care of my father and kahit po’ng nangyari, never ko pong inisip na I would have done it any other way.
I will take pride in saying that I took care of my father ever since I was six years old. I’m very happy how that has turned out and I want to continue making him proud by securing our future sa kahit ano pong paraan.”
Ang most recent business venture ay pakikipag-collab sa iba pang business partners to put up an Air BnB vacation home rental. Nasa Ontario Canada lang naman ang property na kanyang in-investa-an at isa itong idyllic lake-front property.
Sa paghahanap-hanap daw niya ng property na paglalaanan ng investment, she chanced upon that real estate in Lake Skugog and she and her partners call it Red Key Lake House.

Time blocking ang secret para equally niya nadi-divide ang oras niya for all her interests, May oras for her showbiz commitments, for business, and for taking care also of her mental health.
“I just try to time block kasi po I really want to grow more as an individual. Gusto ko po sana makapag- explore pa with my entrepreneurial side. Get advice from a lot of my friend. So, one of the advises is the time blocking. Of course, hinding-hindi ko makakalimutan ’yong main bread and butter and my business for my family, which is acting of course, hosting of course, and performing for you guys. Pero I also want to grow Presidential Paws and Wavee.
So, time blocking lang para magawa lahat.”
Mukang madaling pakinggan pag kay Yassi galing but it actually takes discipline, ha.
Ngayon, kasali sa ita-time block niya ang mga paparating na projects niya after Rolling In It PH. Will there be another game show hosting gig sa naka-line up?
“I heard a lot actually I don’t know kung p’wede ko nang sabihin, e,” excited na tsika na Yassi sa mga gagawin niyang projects. “Pero for hosting… I love hosting so much because I had so much fun. I hope I can do another. And I heard a couple of concepts but I need to think about it first. And then we really have to figure it out my schedule.
So, I’m open to exploring where hosting brings me. Pero sa ngayon we’re gonna do our movie first, More Than Blue, and it’s a Korean adaptation and I’m very excited to do that with JC Santos and Marco Gumabao—soon. Very, very soon. So, ’yon muna.”
