The 1990 Robin Padilla-starrer, Bad Boy, was such a hit that it demanded a sequel. Bad Boy 2 came in 1992 and in this installment, we see Bombo (Robin) as a newly-released prisoner whose new mission in life is to live a peaceful, violence-free life.
He and his wife Cecille (Cristina Gonzales), along with their daughter, are now residents of a remote town called Sta. Fe.
There, despite his efforts to mend his ways, he inadvertently got embroiled in violence anew.
His wife and daughter got involved in an incident that forces his to turn his back on his vows. And his quest for justice leads him back to the very core of violence.
He is vent to get the justice seeks at all cost.
With the story concept developed by Robin himself along with director Bebong Osorio (and scripted by Humilde “Meek” Roxas and Rod Santiago), Bad Boy 2 certainly promises twice the action and the drama.
It also boasts of an ensemble cast that include Monique Wilson, Vic Vargas, Dennis Padilla, Jun Aristorenas, Rommel Padilla, and even the young Queenie Padilla.
