She got both.
In coming to America, she was accompanied by her friend and secret admirer Paul (Wowie de Guzman). Paul, seeing how he doesn’t stand a chance with Ligaya who’s bent in making her dreams come true, decided to shift his attention.
Later, Ligaya would come back home, husbandless, friendless, and heartbroken. She, too, realized that she didn’t find her happiness in America but instead in the company of Paul, who decided to be left behind there.
Will Paul have a change of heart?
This kilig-filled movie, shot partly in San Francisco, California, takes its title from Jaya’s hit single, “Dito sa Puso Ko,” which was also the movie’s theme song.
- Written by Mel del Rosario and directed by Eric Quizon, the film also stars Direk Eric himself, Troy Montero, Vanessa del Bianco, and Ms. Gina Pareño.
