Here, Sharon played as an archeologist and museum curator who gets kidnapped by a sinister group of treasure hunters who needed her to interpret the Lain treasure map they stole.
Cesar, for his part, was the mercenary hired by her father to save her.
Their escape led to a long, arduous, and very funny chase, where, as they fought the bad guys, they were also falling deeply in love with one another.
One selling point of this film was the chance to view the rarely-seen picturesque spots in the island of Luzon where all their wacky adventures—as escapees and later, lovers—took place.
