Asked how she sees herself five years from now, KS says: “I definitely wanna be with my person.”
Sa recent The KC Diaries vlog upload ni KC Concepcion sa YouTube na tinawag niyang “Answering Questions Only My Sisters Can Ask!,” ang mga anak ni Gabby Concepcion sa misis na si Genevive Yatco Gonzales—na sina Samantha at Savannah Concepcion—ang nagbato ng mga tanong kay KC.
Maraming Netizens ang pumupuri kay KC dahil sa nakita nilang pagmamahal nito sa kanyang mga kapatid, bagama’t hindi nagpakita on-cam si Savannah at nagbabato lang ng tanong.
Isa sa unang tanong kay KC ay: “What was the most important thing Papa taught you during your younger years?”
“Papa always talks to me about family,” ang nakangiting sagot naman ni KC. “He always reminded me who’s who in the family. And what Lolo Juan Arellano did.”
Si Juan Arellano ay great grandfather ni Gabby sa mother side na kilalang architect at painter noong early 1900’s.
Patuloy ni KC: “’Cause he was an architect and a painter and a great one. And he made the Manila Post Office. He made the U.S. Embassy. He did the Jones Bridge, the Metropolitan Theater. So he built all these amazing establishments and Papa never forgot to tell me all about it and he always taught me the value of art and taught me about storytelling and how important to remember the things that we do together and the memories that we make together.
“You know how he is when we’re together. He’s always making kuwento. Papa always teaches me to never forget about family. And you know, even if we don’t see each other a lot, that we’re supposed to be here for each other as sisters.
“He always reminded me of my sisters, and always made me feel close to my sisters.”
Next na tanong ni Samantha kay KC ay kung ano raw ang katangian ng Papa nila na gusto nitong makita sa magiging asawa nito.
Tinanong muna ni KC si Samantha kung ano ang pinaka-gusto nito sa kanilang Papa Gabby.
“That he goes out of his way, to like, help us,” ang tugon ni Samantha.
“Right? Right? He’s like that!” pagsang-ayon naman agad ni KC. “Yeah, definitely I think. Papa is always all about the girls. All about his family. All about us and he’s so sweet to us. Like he’s so sweet with you. I saw how he took care of you, bathed you, gave you a bath and Savannah.
“It would be really nice to have that in my future husband. To have somebody that’s just as cool, and loving, and sweet as Papa.”
Dugtong pa niya: “He has a lot of friends, right? But when it comes to us, for some reason, it’s like he would really go to the ends of the earth for us.”
Tinanong din ni Samantha ang Ate KC niya kung ano raw ang nakikita nito sa sarili five years from now.
“So five years from now, I definitely wanna be with my person. I definitely want to be still so close to you. I want you to be able to, you know, see me as your best friend, one of your best friends, who if you need me, you wanna go on an adventure, you just call, and say, ‘Ate, I wanna do this!’ And I will be there for you.”
“And you know, I think, I do wanna be with my person. I definitely wanna still be having a lot of fun,” patuloy ni KC. “Probably living outside of the Philippines but also coming home and I’d love to have a beach house by then so that we can all just enjoy and enjoy life together.”
